Rowdy's Defensive Pistol

Rowdy’s Basic Defensive Pistol class builds on fundamental shooting skills and introduces techniques designed for defensive handgun use. Students work on grip, body alignment, shooting cadence, threat-focused shooting with both eyes open, flash sight picture, and trigger reset while developing greater control and confidence.

Students also learn to present the pistol from the high-compressed-ready position, which is incorporated throughout the class drills. The course emphasizes safe, controlled practice while helping shooters improve their ability to deliver accurate follow-up shots at close-range targets.

Class length: Approximately 2 hours
Course of fire: Approximately 150–200 rounds

Rowdy’s Range & Armory Cancellation Policy: Because spots are limited, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours.
