What are the safety measures in place at your gun range?
At our gun range, safety is our top priority. We follow strict safety protocols, including a mandatory brief safety training for new visitors, trained range safety officers, and adherence to all local and federal regulations. We also provide eye and ear protection for rent, to ensure a safe shooting environment.
Do I need any prior experience to visit your gun range?
No prior experience is necessary to visit our gun range. We welcome shooters of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Our knowledgeable staff is always available to assist and provide guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable shooting experience. First time shooters will need to take a brief mandatory 15 minute minimum Safety Training for $15/lane. We offer an Introductory Fundamentals class for $90 for one person and 50% off ($45) for a second person, available by appointment only. Our courses and trainers are USCCA Certified.
What types of firearms do you have available for rent?
We offer a wide selection of handguns and rifles, including two full-auto “machine guns”. Our rental inventory includes various models from reputable manufacturers, allowing you to try different firearms before making a purchase decision. We carry many of the most popular everyday carry guns, including Sig Sauer, Glock, S&W and Ruger. You must shoot our ammo with our guns.
Can I bring my own firearm to the range?
Absolutely! We encourage shooters to bring their own firearms to the range. However, please ensure that your firearms are unloaded and cased when entering the premises. Holsters count as cases, and can be worn loaded into the range. Our range rules and safety protocols must be followed at all times.
What types of training courses do you offer?
We offer a range of training courses tailored to different skill levels and interests. Our courses cover topics such as basic firearm handling, concealed carry, defensive tactics, and tactical shooting. We also offer UT Concealed Firearm Permit classes twice a month. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced shooter seeking advanced training, we have a course for you.
Do I need to bring my own ammunition for training?
While you’re welcome to bring your own ammunition, we also have a wide selection of common calibers available for purchase at our store. Our staff can help you choose the appropriate ammunition for your firearm and training needs. No Tracer, incendiary, steel core or armor piercing ammunition allowed. No shotguns, including .410 handguns like the Taurus Judge or Smith and Wesson Governor. No shot shells regardless of caliber.
Is there an age restriction for using the gun range?
Yes, there is an age restriction for using the gun range. Shooters must be at least 18 years old to use a long gun and at least 21 years old to use a handgun. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, be tall enough to see over the bench (4 foot/122cm), and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Can I book a private event or group training at your gun range?
Absolutely! We offer private events and group training sessions for corporate events, bachelor parties, team-building activities, and more. Our experienced instructors will work with you to create a customized experience that suits your needs. We have a large classroom with a projector available for rent. Our shooter’s lounge, The Chamber, is stocked with a TV, snacks and drinks.
Do you offer firearm sales and transfers?
Yes, we have a store on-site where you can purchase firearms, ammunition, and accessories. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in finding the right firearm for your needs. We also provide firearm transfer services in compliance with all legal requirements. Our Transfer Fee is $25 per gun, plus a $7.50 background check if you don’t have a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit.
What do I need to bring to purchase a firearm?
To purchase a firearm in the state of Utah you will need a valid Utah State Drivers License, with a current address. If you have recently moved, you can bring in a state issued document like a utility bill or hunting license. You must be 18 to buy any long gun and 21 to buy any handgun or receiver. If you are interested in a Blue Label Firearm (Military/LEO/Firefighters). Please contact us for more information.
What are your operating hours?
Our gun range and store operate during regular business hours from 10am to 7pm Mon-Sat, we have members only hours from 9am to 10am Mon-Sat. Closed Sunday. Please note that our range may have different operating hours due to events and classes, so it’s always best to check our social media, website, or give us a call for the most up-to-date information.
How much does it cost to rent a lane?
Our lanes cost $15 for the first person and $10 for each additional person, up to 4 people per lane. It is first come first serve. The maximum occupancy is 24. For large groups and parties, contact us to reserve the range.
